Chizi is a resident of Likoni, Kenya. She has a farming business which she has run for ten years. Chizi began the trade by keeping goats and then purchased a piece of land on which she plants trees. She has two school-age children.
She is applying for a loan of 10,650 Kenya shillings (KES) to cultivate the farm. Her ambition is to purchase dairy cows and start selling milk. This, Chizi believes, will help her widen her income stream and also pay for her children’s school fees.
