David is 42 years old. He lives in a small village with his family: his wife who is a housewife and his 17-year-old son who still goes to school. The family runs an agricultural business.
David has a little plot of land where he grows cucumbers. He sells his cucumbers on the local open market. David is also a private worker; he helps people in his village look after their agricultural business. Seasonally he goes into the woods and prepares firewood for the local population and gets service fees. The total average monthly income of the family is 400 Lari.
David has requested a loan for purchasing cucumber seeds, as he wants to plow the land and sow more cucumbers. With this loan he will be able to take good care of the land. Thus, he wants to expand his agricultural business. David will sell his harvested product on the local open market. This will increase the income of the family. With increased income he will be able to improve their living conditions.
