Maly is 43 years old. She is a mother of three children and resides with her husband in Prey Veng Province, Cambodia. She has been selling groceries for more than three years, earning approximately $3 per day. Her husband is a rice farmer who earns about $2 per day. Two of her children are employed in a garment factory. They earn about $4 per day. In order to improve her family’s finances, Maly is requesting a loan of $1500 to purchase more groceries to resale. This money will help her expand her groceries store and earn more income to support the family. In the future, she would like to rebuild her store to make it bigger and stronger for storage.
