Rose is married with three children and two of her children go to school. She has a restaurant business. She has been in this business for four years. She has applied for a loan of 400,000 UGX from MCDT-SACCO to buy more bunches of bananas, beef, rice, chicken and fish. She works in the business six days a week. Rose's major business challenges are defaulters and the increasing price of foodstuffs in Uganda. She hopes to see her restaurant grow into a fully stocked one and to build her own house. She resides in a rented house and the family doesn’t have access to electricity or piped water. Her monthly expenses include school fees and rent.
