Haji is a man who is married to Mwajame. They have seven children, five of whom are in school. He has been operating a Coca-Cola depot for the last two years, selling to the general public. His aim is to own a wholesale and hire employees. He experiences the challenge of market competition in his place of operation. Haji owns a house that has neither electricity nor piped water. He joined Yehu purposefully to get loans to boost his business.
The loan will help him to purchase crates of soda for sale.
About Yehu Microfinance Trust
This loan is administered by Yehu Microfinance Trust, which was founded in 1998 as a project of CHOICE Humanitarian Kenya. In July 2007, Yehu became a separate entity from CHOICE and was registered as a trust. Since then, Yehu has expanded to cover over half of Kenya’s 13 coastal districts.
