Narin, 51, is widowed and resides with her brother and one child in Kampong Chhnang Province, Cambodia. She has been running a taxi service (motor taxi) for more than four years, earning approximately $5 per day. Additionally, she grows mushrooms to sell and earns about $11 per day. In order to improve her family’s finances, Narin is requesting a loan of $500 to purchase piglets to breed and resale when they gain weight. By doing so, she would earn extra income to support the family. In the future, she would like to expand her mushroom farm and help her child earn a bachelor’s degree.
