A loan of $1,000 helped to purchase pagnes.

Yoadi's story

Born in 1957 in Tominian, Yoadi lives with her four children and family in the Bele neighbourhood of the city of Sanankoroba.

A teacher by profession, Yoadi became interested in generating income primarily through the purchase and sale of outfits mostly from Burkina Faso, as well as Wax [a brand] pagnes from Lomé (in Togo).

After having properly repaid her three previous loans, Yoadi is on her fourth loan through Soro Yiriwaso, which she will use to purchase 100 articles of Wax pagnes from wholesalers. She sells retail from home, the market in Sanankoroba, and in the professional buildings locally to a clientele of men and women. She handles her sales in cash and credit.

Yoadi would like to earn a monthly income of 40,000 FCFA, which will be used for family needs, loan repayments, and as reinvestment in her business.
