Sam Oun is 33 years old. She is married and resides with her husband and one child in Kampong Cham Province, Cambodia. She has been working in a garment factory for more than two years, earning approximately $4 per day. Her husband is a mechanic who earns about $10 per day. In order to improve her family’s finances, Sam Oun is requesting a loan of $1500 to purchase farmland for cultivating crops. By doing so, she would earn more income to support the family. In the future, she would like to expand her husband’s business and help her child earn a bachelor’s degree. Moreover, she hopes to rebuild her present house to make it bigger and more convenient for her family.
