Srey is 42 years old. She is a mother of four children and resides with her husband in Takeo Province, Cambodia.
She has been selling fruit for more than seven years, earning approximately $8 per day. Her husband runs a taxi service (motor taxi). He earns about $5 per day. Two of her children are employed in a garment factory. They earn about $6 per day.
In order to improve her family’s finances, Srey is requesting a loan of $1,000 to purchase more fruits for resale. By doing so, she will earn more profit to support the family.
In the future, she would like to expand her business and help her children earn Bachelor’s degrees.
