Every fifteen days in the Saint Gregory Citadel located in the city of Portoviejo, fifteen female members and two male members of The Sea and Sun Communal Bank come together. They are engaged in diverse occupations including general commerce, services, and more.

One member, Delia, is 44 years old and married with three children, who are 18, 14, and 12. The youngest two are in high school. Her husband works occasionally. Delia is a housewife who started working to be able to make her own money and help out her spouse, who doesn't have a stable job, with household expenses. She sells clothes and Esika products (beauty poducts, cosmetics, perfume and accessories for women). She works three day a week for two or three hours a day. She leaves the goods on credit and collects payment every eight days. Delia has been working in this capacity for four years and is doing very well. Perfumes are the best sellers. Currently she is making a lot of sales and hopes to be able to take advantage of deals offered by her partner companies and thereby increase earnings.

This loan wil be used to buy perfumes, beauty creams, cosmetics and clothing. This is her second loan with the Communal Bank and she likes being a member for the help given to her and to her peers.

Her dream is to provide the best for her children so that they can become professionals and be successful.
