Ella se dedica al rubro del comercio específicamente a la venta de almacén con productos de gran variedad. Se desempeña en este negocio desde hace 17 años.
Dorys se desempeña en sus labores de comercio todos los días y su horario de trabajo lo distribuye de acuerdo a su disponibilidad.
Su mercadería la compra en distribuidoras que se especializan en vender los productos que abastece en su almacén.
Con el crédito comprará una fotocopiadora para su almacén ya que su misma clientela se lo solicito ya que en los alrededores no hay fotocopiadoras.
Una de sus metas de Dorys son tener una persona de confianza quien le ayude con su almacén para trabajar.
Dorys vive junto a su marido y su hija quien se encuentra estudiando. Su sueño a nivel personal le gustaría haber sido Carabinero, y sus sueños familiares son brindarle a su familia una mejor calidad de vida.
Ella está muy contenta y agradecida de la oportunidad que le ha brindado Fondo Esperanza, ya que le ha permitido invertir en su negocio. Además se siente muy cómoda con la compañía de las demás emprendedoras del grupo del Banco Comunal, ya que comparten diferentes actividades, intereses, lo cual también le ha servido como un momento de distracción. Respecto a las capacitaciones en las reuniones, ha aprendido administrar su negocio de mejor manera.
Viña del Mar es una ciudad y comuna ubicada en el litoral central de Chile, conocida como la Ciudad Jardín debido a los jardines y patios que poseen algunas viviendas antiguas de la ciudad. También es considerada la capital turística de Chile.

About Fondo Esperanza

Fondo Esperanza (FE) is a private non-profit organization that supports entrepreneurship by providing micro-credit and training to people living in poverty in well over 100 cities throughout Chile. By providing these services, FE aims to improve the living conditions of the entrepreneurs and their families. In 2010, FE provided loans to more than 41,000 entrepreneurs. It utilizes a communal banking model in which groups of 18 to 25 clients meet on regularly and guarantee each other’s loans. The members use their portion of the loan to create or expand their own businesses. In the group meetings, clients receive training though the FE Entrepreneurship School, which enhances clients’ personal and business skills and ability to work in groups.
