Calixta Cirila
Calixta lives in Quevedo where she has had a grocery store for 12 years. At first she only sold soft drinks and it went well. While smiling, she tells us that she never thought that people could drink so much cola! In time, her business grew and her customers began asking for other products. Today she has a well-stocked store and she works from Monday to Sunday, from 6:00 AM to 9:00 PM.

Her focus is to manage her store, but she does get help from her relatives when she needs it. Although she is 61 years old, she is still active and enjoys working. We ask her if there are some inconveniences in her work and she tells us that there are not, except that at the moment she is a bit sick.

Calixta is divorced and she has four adult children that are independent. With this loan she will buy products for her store such as soft drinks, confetti, tables, and chairs. Her goal is to remodel her home which will help improve her neighborhood and local community.
