She milks cows twice a day and produces cheese. Twice a week she takes cheese to an open market in Tbilisi (capital city of the country). Total average monthly income of the family is 800 Laris.
Leila requested credit for purchasing calves. She will feed them for 6 months and sell grown calves in late fall for a higher price. The family will get additional income. Leila plans to reinvest it in the same business to expand the family farm and make it more profitable. In the long term, the income of the family will increase and they will be able to improve family living conditions.
