Duong is a 53-year-old married woman who has been residing in Kampong Chhnang province. She is a local rice farmer who plants and sells rice for her income. Her husband also works in the same business as her. Duong wants to provide basic living needs and good educations for her children, so she has a strong determination to achieve her goal. She presently is responsible for five children, one of whom is still single and attending high school.
At the present, Duong is seeking a loan of KHR 2,500,000 to purchase extra farmland to improve her farming business. Someday, with good profits from the business, she will attain a successful life for her family.

The organization provides microfinance services to the poor, particularly women, in urban and rural areas. Kiva lenders’ funds will be used to expand the outreach of HKL’s financial services to a greater number of clients in rural areas of Cambodia.
