Juan Humberto
Juan is a young man, 28 years old, who lives in the city of Ica, a place known for a warm climate year round. It is also known for farming, especially cotton, grapes, asparagus, paprika, and other things. There are many tourists throughout the year because the Huacachina Lagoon is located here, in the middle of spectacular sand dunes. When he has free time, Juan likes to play soccer and eat his favorite food, "escabeche de pescado" [pickled fish]. He studied electronics at a technical school, but he would have liked to go to university to be a technical engineer.

Juan works with enthusiasm at his business maintaining and repairing computers and electronic systems. He works around 8 hours a day and can tend to up to 15 clients in a day. He says he thinks that his business is going well because he's known by his customers and because he provides friendly service.

Juan is very happy and grateful to the Kiva lenders because, thanks to the help they've given him, he will be able to buy tools and materials for repairing computers, like memory cards, needle-nose pliers, , among other things. This way he will have the necessary materials to do his work and increase his income. This will allow him to continue making progress towards his greatest dream: "to have a computer maintenance business."

Juan es un joven de 28 años de edad, vive en la ciudad de Ica, ciudad que se caracteriza por tener un clima caluroso en cualquier época del año, también se desarrolla la agricultura, en especial el cultivo de algodón, uva, esparrago, paprika, entre otros; en todo el año recibe muchos turistas ya que en esta ciudad se encuentra la laguna de Huacachina la cual se encuentra en medio de dunas espectaculares. Cuando tiene un tiempito libre le gusta jugar futbol y también comer uno de sus platillos favoritos el cual es el riquísimo “Escabeche de Pescado”. El logro estudiar la carrera técnica de electricidad, pero le hubiera gustado estudiar en la universidad para ser Ingeniero Técnico.

Con mucho entusiasmo Juan trabaja en su negocio de mantenimiento y reparación de computadoras y sistemas eléctricos, él le dedica a su negocio alrededor de 8 horas al día y puede atender hasta 15 clientes en el día; ella cree que le va bien en su negocio porque es muy conocida por los clientes y porque es muy amable en la atención.

Juan esta muy feliz y agradecido con los prestatarios Kiva ya que gracias a la ayuda que le han brindado el podrá comprar herramientas y materiales para la reparación de los equipos de computo como tarjetas de memoria, alicates pequeños, flayers, entre otros; así de esta manera el podrá tener los materiales necesarios para la realización de su trabajo y también mejorara sus ingresos; lo que le permitirá seguir mejorando para hacer realidad su más grande sueño:” Tener una empresa de mantenimiento de computadoras”.
