Rom is 38 years old. She is a mother of five children and resides with her husband in Takeo Province, Cambodia. She is a homemaker. Her husband runs the business of purchasing generators to resell for a profitable price. Approximately, he earns $5 per day. One of her children is a construction worker who earns about $5 per day. In order to improve her family’s finances, Rom is requesting a loan of $1400 to raise capital in her husband‘s business for purchasing more generators to resell. This money will help her husband expand his business and earn more profit to support the family. In the future, she would like to run a grocery store at home to earn extra income for the family and help her children earn bachelor’s degree. Moreover, she hopes to build a new house as soon as possible.
