Rorn is thirty-three years old. He is a father of two children and resides with his wife in Battambang Province, Cambodia. He has been running a taxi service (motor taxi) for more than four years, earning approximately $10 per day. His wife is a rice farmer who earns about $3 per day. His children are still in his care and in school.
In order to improve his family’s living condition, Rorn is requesting a loan of $800 to purchase a Tuk Tuk to run the taxi service. This purchase will enable him to generate more income to support the family. In the future, he would like to expand his business and help his children earn bachelor’s degrees. Moreover, he hopes to rebuild his house to make it bigger and more convenient for his family.
