Hamidou
Mr. Hamidou lives in Senegal. He is a 49-year-old married man who works in sales and food services. He runs a restaurant on a major street of the neighborhood where he has lived for over 20 years. He serves lunch and dinner. He chose this activity out of necessity to support himself. His goal is to assist his family.

He became a member of the local U-IMCEC branch in January 2002 and has repaid four previous loans. He is now seeking a loan of 300,000 F to buy large quantities of food items at competitive prices. This will enable him to prepare the dishes that he sells to his customers.

He hopes to bolster his restaurant business. An increase in his regular income would allow him to improve his family’s financial and social living conditions while helping to support his parents.
