Ricardo is 56 years old and has been married for 34 years to Prisciliana, who is 55 years old. They have 5 children aged 32, 29, 27, 22 and 20. The three oldest are married and live with their respective partners and have their own houses. The two youngest children, on the other hand, still live at home and help them with the business.

Ricardo tells us that previously he used to work at an oil factory that later went bankrupt. Due to this turn of events he decided to find a different way to earn a living and this is how he got started selling charcoal and firewood.

Thanks to his efforts he was able to support his family and help them get ahead. Additionally he was able to enjoy the comforts of owning his house and a truck that he now uses to deliver his products.

Ricardo proudly mentions that he is doing well in his business and that he can count on the constant support of his family. The loan he is requesting will be used to purchase charcoal and firewood for him to sell.
