With Emelda's first credikiva loan, she bought materials and supplies with which she developed her products and fulfilled her customer's orders in her carpentry business. She also invested in fabrics and thread and created beautifully designed apparel.

She is now applying for a new credikiva loan which she will use to buy wood and paint to create new furniture, as she wants to fulfill orders for Mother's Day. She will also invest in her apparel business, a business that she wants to strengthen.

Her message to the Kiva lenders is the following: "I am very thankful and I hope that you continue supporting me in spite of some difficulties due to problems with my health."
