Martha Cecilia
Martha is 35 years old and she has a son. She lives in the suburbs of Guayaquil. She started her business selling assorted items from her home. The business is 1.5 years old and she makes good money. Since her business is in her home, she does her sales there. When she can, she travels through the neighborhood selling products from catalogs. She does not have a fixed schedule, which works well so she can take care of her 7-year-old son when he returns from school. She will use this loan to purchase merchandise such as creams, perfume, and makeup. She hopes to have better income and provide security for her son.
