Frances is 38 years old and married with four children between the ages of 10 to 18. All of her children live at home and are in school, and her husband is a contractor.
For 20 years now, Frances has been selling used clothes and rice bread (traditional bread made of banana and rice dust). She says her obligation can’t allow her to meet customers’ needs, so she is requesting a loan of 20,000 Liberia dollars (LRD) to purchase used clothes, rice, and bananas to increase her sales. Her plan is to expand her business.
