Ermelinda Del Rosario
Ermelinda, age 61, is married and has seven grown children. She has been devoting herself to agricultural work for 20 years. This is because her husband has a disability, and it falls to her to do the work.

Also, she goes out to sell in an itinerant manner in the same place where she lives. She sells tamales, pastries, yucca, and sometimes bagged fruit. She gets up at 4:00 a.m. and finishes her working day as late as 9:00 p.m. She also does the household chores.

She buys the agricultural supplies in a city that is six kilometers from her community. This is why she pays for a vehicle to take her to make her purchases.

The loan that she is requesting from the Fundación Campo is to buy 12 sacks of fertilizer, 50 pounds of hybrid seeds, and to pay for labor. This way she will buy everything at one time, and she will only have to pay for transportation one time. She will use all of the supplies for her crops at the necessary time.

Upon improving her crops, her income will also improve. Ermelinda wishes to have the chance to give her disabled husband a better life.
