Nyamvula is a married woman who has six children. Three of her children are enrolled in school while the other three are still below school age. Nyamvula lives in her own house that has neither electricity nor piped water. She operates a meat goat business and has been in this business for the last 10 years. Nyamvula aspires to open a butchery in the future.
With the loan of 20000 KES, she will be able to buy more goats for her business.

This loan is administered by Yehu Microfinance Trust, which was founded in 1998 as a project of CHOICE Humanitarian Kenya. In July 2007, Yehu became a separate entity from CHOICE and was registered as a trust. Since then, Yehu has expanded to cover over half of Kenya’s 13 coastal districts.
