Pacificah runs a retail shop in Malindi, Kenya. She is the married mother of three school-going children. Her shop has been in operation for the last 10 years. Pacificah was introduced to Milango by an employee of the organization and joined to access credit.
She is applying for a loan of 21,100 Kenya shillings in order to add stock to her store, such as milk, flour, sugar, and cereals. The main challenges facing her business are price fluctuations and high transportation costs incurred while bringing the stock to her shop. Nevertheless, Pacificah believes that the additional income from this loan will help her provide for the education of her children as well as to supply for her family’s other basic needs.
She aspires to own a wholesale shop in the near future.
