Sen is 45 years old. She is a local rice farmer, who has been farming along with her husband for almost 27 years. She lives with her family in Prey Chor district, Kompong Cham province. She is responsible for three single children, while the other one is already married. Aside from rice farming, Sen’s husband is a member of a construction team that provides construction services within the province.
As of now, Sen is asking for a loan to help her husband purchase construction materials to make improvements to his projects. She hopes that this investment will make a good profit for the family. For her business goal, she wants to purchase an extra plot of land to expand her business and production. She feels very happy and thankful.

The organization provides microfinance services to the poor, particularly women, in urban and rural areas. Kiva lenders’ funds will be used to expand the outreach of HKL’s financial services to a greater number of clients in rural areas of Cambodia.
