Ny, 41, is married and resides with her husband and three children in Kampong Chhnang Province, Cambodia. She has been working in a garment factory for more than six years, earning approximately $5 per day. Her husband runs a taxi service (motor taxi). He earns about $6 per day. Due to the difficulty in traveling to work, Ny is requesting a loan of $1,200 to purchase a motorbike for commuting to work. This purchase would enable her to use the money saved on her transportation expenses to support the family. In the future, she would like to run a tailoring shop and help her children earn bachelors degrees.
