Mon, 46, is widowed and resides with her three children in Takeo Province, Cambodia. She has been selling cake for more than ten years, earning approximately $3 per day. Her children are employed. They earn about $10 per day. Due to the difficulty in her family’s transportation, Mon is requesting a loan of $1,000 to purchase a motorbike to commute. This purchase would enable her to use the money saved from her transportation expenses to support the family. In the future, she would like to expand her business and build a new house as soon as possible.
