Sylvia wants a loan to buy sugar, salt, rice and soap to sell. She is a 32-year-old single mother with a child living in Masindi, Uganda. The responsibility of taking care of her daughter solely depends on her as the father has another family elsewhere.
In order to support herself, she started a retail shop and it has sustainably enabled her to have all the basics. She desires to educate her child and move the business to a more permanent location despite the challenges of thieves and price fluctuations.
