Annuciate is 35 years old and lives in the town of Mubende in the Mubende region of Uganda. She is married and has 4 children with 2 of them currently in school. For the past 3 years, Annuciate has been working hard to manage her small business, which sells cosmetics.

To help expand her business, Annuciate has requested a loan of 2,000,000 Ugandan Shillings from BRAC Uganda. The loan will be used to buy more cosmetic lotions for resale, and will help Annuciate to generate greater profits and pay all the expenses at home. Annuciate hopes that in the future she will be able to open up a big cosmetic shop for both wholesale and retail.

Annuciate is a member of BRAC's Small Enterprise Program (SEP). The program primarily serves small entrepreneurs like Annuciate who do not have enough collateral for commercial loans, but have businesses that have grown too large for micro-loans.
