Janet is a 31-year-old resident of Garang, Tangub City. She provides her 3 children's needs from the little amount of PHP 8,000 she gains monthly from her own fish vending business. She has run this business for 10 years as an aid to the income gained from her husband's fishing. She has been a member of GDMPC since 2009. Janet applied for a loan at GDMPC micro finance for PHP 16,300 to buy fishing nets and to repair the boat used in their business. Janet wants to make expansion to her business one day and to have a motorboat.
