Jorge is a young man of 28 who lives with his wife and their one year old child. He adores his child, who is his motivation for getting ahead in life and working to make each day a better one. He lives in Pisco, a city with a warm and welcoming climate, with beautiful beaches and tourist attractions, such as “Las Islas Ballestas and "el Candelabro de Paracas”.

When he has free time, he likes to play football with his friends and neighbours from his neighbourhgood, and also enjoys a plate of his favourite dish, "Ají de Gallina". He only studied to secondary school level, but he would have liked to study Business Administration.

Jorge goes to work enthusiastically each day, to his video and computer game rental business. He works around 10 hours a day and can have up to 25 customers in a day. He believes his business does well because it is situated in a busy area and above all, because of excellent customer service.

Jorge is very grateful for the Kiva loans, as, thanks to their help, he will be able to buy television sets for his videogame business and also make some home improvements, particularly the wall threading, and he'll carpet the floor.

With these improvements he'll be able to make a higher income and provide a better quality of life for his family. So he will continue to battle on every day to make his biggest dream come true: to own his own home, as his present home is rented.
