Estrellas Azules [Blue Stars] is a solidarity group at Credituyo. They chose this name because the day they started the group they were looking at the sky and they decided to use the name because they think of themselves as stars and the sky is their limit.

Erendida is one of the members of the group, she is in a common law marriage with her partner and she doesn't have any children yet. She has worked selling clothes at the street markets in the city for more than 7 years. She will use her loan to stock up on clothes for the summer season.

In the future Erendida plans to have the biggest stall in the market with the best stock so she can make a better profit and then be able to get married and have children.

Additional Information

This is a Group Loan

In a group loan, each member of the group receives an individual loan but is part of a larger group of individuals. The group is there to provide support to the members and to provide a system of peer pressure, but groups may or may not be formally bound by a group guarantee. In cases where there is a group guarantee, members of the group are responsible for paying back the loans of their fellow group members in the case of delinquency or default.

Kiva's Field Partners typically feature one borrower from a group. The loan description, sector, and other attributes for a group loan profile are determined by the featured borrower's loan. The other members of the group are not required to use their loans for the same purpose.
