Kandice is a motivated and dedicated member of her Detroit community where she has lived her entire life. In 2010, she decided to give back to her community by developing a service center where members of inner city Detroit communities could come to get consultation on document preparation, such as: tax preparation, law representation, resume and cover letter writing, and business plan development. In addition to this, her business is also equipped with notary services.

Currently, the business is home-based and employs one other employee in addition to Kandice, however she also relies on her vast network of family and friends to consult with clients that may need help in fields not in Kandice's expertise. Next year Kandice will be attending law school in hopes of gaining additional experience that will allow her to grow her business. She hopes to continue to grow her business and continue to provide consulting services to her community. She would like to use this loan to build her home office and turn her business into an accredited company.
