Benilda de 50 años es madre de un hijo de 28 años y vive en la ciudad de Barranquilla, con él y su nieta donde se dedica a mejorar la imagen personal y profesional de damas, caballeros y niños mediante técnicas de belleza que aplica en un pequeño salón de belleza ubicado en el lugar donde habita. Ella es una emprendedora mujer que desde hace 20 años inició su propia aventura de negocios, guiada por la pasión con que desarrolla su tarea diaria y es por esto que sus clientes se pone en sus manos para salir de sus instalaciones bellos y relajados, no solo por la calidad conque aplica sus técnicas sino también por la calidez en su trato a ellos. Entre sus metas está la de adecuar su local para prestar servicios de estética, pues cuenta con suficiente espacio para hacerlo y también planea contratar un esteticista. Su mayor desafío es lograr diversificar apropiadamente su oferta con este nuevo servicio con el que sueña y tener el suficiente capital de trabajo para lograr alcanzar su propósito de crecimiento. En la actualidad está aplicando a un credikiva, primer financiamiento que hace a la Fundación Mario Santo Domingo, con el cual comprará productos de belleza como tintes, alicer, champo, cremas y colonias.
