Eter lives in the Gardabani District, East Georgia, with her 33-year-old son. Eter and her son earn their living through agriculture. They have a dairy farm with 3 milk cows. Eter produces cheese and sells it in Tbilisi. She takes cheese to the market once a week. They sell on average 50 kg of cheese per month. The total average monthly income of the family is 300 Laris, including Eter’s pension.
Eter requested credit for expansion of the dairy farm. She will purchase an additional milk cow, and will be able to produce 25% more cheese. Eter will sell additional cheese at the same market, where her product is quite popular among consumers. The income of the family will increase and they will be able to improve their living conditions.
