Noeurn is 42 years old. She is widowed and resides with two children in Kampong Chhnang Province, Cambodia. She has been selling groceries for more than 10 years, earning approximately $3 per day. One of her children is employed in a factory. She earns about $3 per day.
In order to improve her family’s finances, Noeurn is requesting a loan of USD 500 to purchase more groceries to resell. By doing so, she would earn more profit to support the family.
In the future, she would like to use the profit to expand her grocery store and help her youngest son to earn a bachelor’s degree. Moreover, she hopes to rebuild her present house to make it bigger and more comfortable for her family to live in.
