Phoeurn is 55 years old. She is a mother of five children and resides with her husband in Takeo Province, Cambodia.
She has been involved in growing rice and fattening pigs for more than ten years, earning approximately $4 per day. Her husband is a village leader who earns about $3 per day. All of her children are employed. They are construction workers and garment workers. They earn about $20 per day.
Due to the difficulty in her family’s transportation, Phoeurn is requesting a loan of $1,400 to purchase a motorbike for commuting. This purchase would enable her to use the money saved on transportation expenses to support her family.
In the future, she would like to expand her business and rebuild her present house to make it more convenient for her family.
