Gulisor D. lives in the Gissar region. She is 53 years old, is married and has 5 children. She has a degree in Accounting. She works as an accountant at the local court. Because the pay is relatively small she is also in the business of raising cattle on the side. When the animals are grown, she sells them on the market. Currently the prices for animals have dropped and it would be a perfect opportunity to purchase a milk cow. This will allow her to provide her own family with milk and milk products. If there will be a lot of milk, she will be able to sell milk and milk products to her neighbors. Gulisor has come to Kiva to obtain a loan that will allow her to purchase the cow. Her family will help her take care of the animal. Gulisor plans to repay the loan within a 12 months period.
