Load is 42 years old. She is a mother of two children and resides with her husband in Takeo Province, Cambodia. She has been selling Khmer noodle for more than three years, earning approximately USD $4 per day. Her husband is a policeman who earns about $3 per day. One of her children is a garment worker who earns about $3 per day. Due to the difficulty with her family’s transportation, Load is requesting a loan of $625 to purchase a motorbike to commute. This purchase would enable her to use the money saved on her transportation expenses to support her family.
