Von is 52 years old. She is a mother of three children and resides with her husband in Kandal Province, Cambodia. She has been involved growing rice and fattening up cattle for more than twenty years, earning approximately $3 per day. Her husband is a construction worker who earns about $3 per day. In order to improve her family’s finance, Von is requesting a loan of $400 to purchase rice to resale for a profitable price. By doing so, she would generate more income to support her family. In the future, she would like to expand her business and help her children earn bachelor’s degrees. Moreover, she hopes to rebuild her present house to make it bigger and more convenient for her family’s living conditions.
