Fatuma is a married woman who has three children, all of whom attend school. She operates a clothes-selling business and aspires to open a shop in the future. She is married to a technician who provides support for her livelihood. Fatuma lives in a rental house that has electricity, but no piped water.
She sells her clothes from door-to-door, and describes the high cost of transport as being her major challenge. The loan of Ksh. 20,000 will enable her to purchase bundles of clothes to sell.
