Kong, 39, is married and resides with his wife and six children in Siem Reap Province, Cambodia. He has been involved in fishing for more than ten years, earning approximately USD 10 per day. His wife helps him run the business. Two of his children are employed in a restaurant. They earn about USD 10 per day.
Due to the difficulty with his family’s transportation, Kong is requesting a loan of USD 1,200 to purchase a motorbike for commuting. This purchase would enable him to use the saved money on his transportation expenses to support the family.
