Pov, 57, is married and resides with her husband and two children in Siem Reap Province, Cambodia. She has been selling fish and vegetables for more than ten years, earning approximately USD 9 per day. Her husband helps her run the business. Two of her children run the delivery service and earn about USD 6 per day. Pov wants to run an additional business in order to improve her family's living conditions. Due to lack of funding, Pov is requesting a loan of USD 800 to purchase groceries for resale at home. This money will help her acquire the security to start the business and generate more income to support the family. In the future, she would like to expand her business and rebuild her present house to make it more comfortable for her family.
