Sergey is 32 years old. He is from a small village of Ninotsminda District in the southern part of the country. Sergey lives with his wife (Erine), one-year-old daughter, mother and grandmother. Erine is a housewife. Sergey runs his family's dairy farm, which has three milk cows. Sergey produces cheese and sells it in the village to local dairy product retailers. The total average monthly income of the family is 800 laris, including the monthly pension of Sergey’s grandmother.
Sergey requested a loan for the expansion of the family dairy farm. He will use it to purchase two additional milk cows. With five milk cows Sergey will be able to produce 60% more cheese and increase the income of the family by at least 300 laris per month. He will use this increased income for creating better living conditions for his family members, especially for his little daughter.
