Cholpon is fifty-one years old, married and has four children. Since 1996, farming and animal raising have been her main source of income. She began this business with 15,000 soms; today, she owns ten sheep, two horses and 0.9 hectares of land which she uses to plant beans on. Via the sale of milk and milk products, Cholpon's able to bring in about 12,000 soms (KGS) a month.

Hoping to expand her business, Cholpon approached "Bai Tushum and Partners" with a request for 100,000 soms that she needs in order to purchase some dairy cows. She plans to invest proceeds from the loan back into her business.
