Thary, 24, is married and resides with her husband and one child in Kampong Cham Province, Cambodia. She has been running a tailoring shop for more than three years, earning approximately 5 USD per day. Her husband is a mechanic who earns about 13 USD per day.
In order to improve her family’s livelihood, Thary is requesting a loan of 1,000 USD to purchase motorbike spare parts for her husband to resell. This purchase will help her husband generate more income to support the family. In the future, she would like to use the profit to expand her business and help her child get a bachelor’s degree. Moreover, she hopes to purchase a flat to provide better living conditions for her family.
