Dali is 64 years old, single and lives in the Gardabani District of East Georgia. She lives alone and her main source of income is a dairy farm. She has two milk cows and uses them to make cheese. She sells an average of 35 kg of cheese to retailers who do business in her village. Her average monthly income is 300 Laris. Dali is requesting a loan to buy a new milk cow. With three milk cows, she will be able to increase her production and sales of cheese by 50 percent. This will mean an increase of about 150 Laris in her monthly income. Dali will use this increased income to buy household goods that she needs and to improve her living conditions.
