Mbaye is a chemist who maintains a chemical production workshop at his home. He also rents vehicle batteries and does solar energy network assembly, repair, and installation. He is married but has no children. He has been conducting this business since 1981, after having been trained by a foreign technician. Today, this business allows him to assume responsibility of the expenses for the care of his family, and to save a portion of his profits in his UIMCEC account.

In order to increase his production, Mbaye is seeking a loan of 300,000 francs in order to purchase diesel, solvents, thinner, sugar, and packaging materials. His dream is to establish a large production unit.
