Makam
Makam is married, and has seven children. He is a farmer, and he rears animals. After the harvest, he buys cattle that he fattens, and then re-sells at the local markets. This cattle-fattening business allows him to earn income during the dry season, and therefore to support his family. After having saved with UIMCEC for two months, he is asking for a loan of 250,000 francs to buy two cattle and groundnut straw for them to eat. His goal is to build a large enclosure to improve his business of rearing animals.
